Timmins Announces Emergency Watermain Repair on Earl St.

The City of Timmins has scheduled an emergency repair for a watermain on Earl St. The Environmental Services Department announced that the repair will start at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, and is expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m.

Residents in the area of the repair might notice low water pressure and discoloration in their water supply beginning the night before the work starts. Water service will be temporarily suspended once repairs commence.

According to the Environmental Services Department, residents should avoid drinking or using discoloured water for laundry during this time frame. They are encouraged to take necessary measures to accommodate the water disruption.
