Piaceri Mediterranei pandoro recalled due to presence of Teflon fragments, CFIA says
Magasin Berchicci Inc. is recalling three Piaceri Mediterranei brand pandoro (leavened cake) products due to the presence of Teflon fragments, according to a Canadian Food Inspection Agency notice. The recall date is Jan. 22, 2026, and distribution is listed as Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.
For shoppers in Northeast Ontario, the notice does not say where in Ontario the products were sold. The CFIA advises consumers and retailers not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products.
