Pine Avenue and Maple Avenue intersection in Smooth Rock Falls to close Sept. 21–23 for storm sewer repair

The intersection of Pine Avenue and Maple Avenue in Smooth Rock Falls will be closed from about 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, until about 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, for a storm sewer lateral repair, according to a notice from the Town of Smooth Rock Falls.

The town says the roadway within the construction zone will be fully closed during the work period, and no through traffic or emergency vehicle access will be possible through the work area.

The notice states the town’s Public Works department will carry out the repair at the intersection.

Residents are asked to plan ahead and use an alternate route. The town also advises drivers to follow posted signage and use caution near the construction area.
