The Canadian Food Inspection Agency posted a recall notice dated April 16 for Poivre des Îles Salad + Seasoning because of the presence of insects. The recall date is listed as April 10, 2026, and the product was distributed in New Brunswick and Quebec.

The notice matters for anyone who may have bought the seasoning while travelling or through an online order, as the agency advised that the affected product should not be used, sold, served or distributed.

The affected product is Poivre des Îles brand Salad + Seasoning in a 28 g package with UPC 0 67709 12410 9.

Poivre des Îles is listed as the recalling firm. The notice was published by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
