Police Seek Video Footage in Timmins Firearms Investigation
The Timmins Police Service is investigating a weapons-related incident reported on August 16, 2025. According to police, part of the incident took place in the west end of Timmins along Riverside Drive, between Norman Street and Shirley Street, between 9:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
Police have requested that residents and businesses with surveillance systems, as well as motorists with dash cameras who were in that area during the specified time, review their footage. The Timmins Police Service stated that any relevant video can be uploaded directly to their evidence portal.
Investigators say efforts continue to identify the person responsible for discharging a firearm during the incident. The Timmins Police Service has advised that updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
