Postal Strike Delays Timmins Payment Notices

The City of Timmins has announced that due to an ongoing strike by Canada Post workers, there will be delays in the distribution of final year-end notices for pre-authorized payments related to property taxes and utilities. Residents who are part of the Pre-authorized Payment Plan are advised to contact Service Timmins for details regarding their December withdrawals and the new amounts for January 2025. Despite the postal disruption, final notices will still be mailed out. For further assistance, residents can reach out to Service Timmins by calling 705-264-1331 or visiting City Hall during regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
