Public Meeting Scheduled for Cochrane Zoning Amendment Application

The Town of Cochrane has received a zoning by-law amendment application, numbered ZBA-2025-02, aimed at amending the Comprehensive Zoning by-law 968-2013. This application has been marked as complete, and a public meeting is scheduled to discuss it. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Town Hall at 171 Fourth Avenue, Cochrane.

The goal of this amendment is to permit the construction of three apartment buildings on the parcels located at Lots 41 and 42 of Plan 6M494. The plans include reducing the required lot frontage to approximately 39.6 metres and adjusting the minimum building separation to 4 metres between structures on the property.
