Ross Avenue in Timmins scheduled to close Sept. 9, 2026, for pavement-marking work

Ross Avenue in Timmins, between Toke Street and Patricia Boulevard, is scheduled to be closed on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a disruption notice from the City of Timmins.

The closure affects a short stretch of a key east-west street and may change how drivers access nearby homes and businesses during the work window. The city says local access will be maintained where possible.

The City of Timmins Public Works department said the road will be closed to allow pavement markings to be painted.

Drivers are asked to follow posted signage, use caution in the work zone, and take alternate routes where possible, the notice said.

The work is weather-dependent, according to the city’s notice.
