Ross Avenue in Timmins to close Aug. 28 between Toke Street and Harmony Avenue

Ross Avenue in Timmins will be closed to traffic between Toke Street and Harmony Avenue on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. while pavement markings are completed.

The closure affects a section of Ross Avenue for eight hours, and drivers who normally use that stretch will need to take another route during the work.

The City of Timmins Public Works department said the closure is needed to complete pavement markings.

Motorists are asked to obey posted signage, use caution near the work zone, and use alternate routes where possible, according to the city notice.
