Ross Avenue in Timmins to close between Toke Street and Harmony Avenue on Aug. 21, 2026

Ross Avenue in Timmins will be closed to traffic between Toke Street and Harmony Avenue on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the City of Timmins.

The temporary closure may affect local driving routes during the morning and early afternoon, particularly for people travelling through the Ross Avenue corridor.

The city said the closure is to allow road work to take place.

Motorists are asked to obey posted signage, use caution when travelling near the work zone, and use alternate routes where possible.

The city did not specify the type of road work planned for that section of Ross Avenue.
