The City of Timmins Public Works Department has announced a change in the snow removal schedule for the week of March 31, 2025. The disruption is attributed to a significant weather event, according to city officials. Residents in several areas will see their scheduled snow removal postponed. On March 31, the night shift servicing Timmins North, including JV Bonhomme, College, and Denise, will be affected. On April 1, the Porcupine area, specifically Hellen, Helmer, and Fern, will experience delays during the day shift. Affected services will be rescheduled at a later date as weather conditions permit.
