The Town of Smooth Rock Falls cancelled recycling pickup scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2026, citing a highway closure.

The change affects residents who normally set out recycling on Tuesdays, and the town has asked people to keep their recyclables until the next scheduled collection.

In a notice posted March 17, the town said there would be no recycling collection that day because of the closure.

The town instructed residents to hold onto their recyclables until the next pickup on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

The town’s notice did not identify which highway was closed.
