Smooth Rock Falls Marks Black History Month with Flag and Education

Smooth Rock Falls will observe Black History Month this February by flying a Black History Month flag for the entire month. The town will also provide educational materials on its Facebook page to inform the community about the contributions and legacy of Black Canadians.

Black History Month is recognized annually across Canada, highlighting the impact of Black Canadians and their communities. This year's theme is "Black Legacy and Leadership: Celebrating Canadian History and Uplifting Future Generations."

Residents are encouraged to engage with the educational content provided and participate in the national observance of Black History Month.
