Smooth Rock Falls offers free public skating March 16–21

Smooth Rock Falls is offering free public skating sessions from March 16 to 21 at the arena at 195 Fifth St., with seven one-hour skates scheduled during the week.

The sessions add extra times during March Break and also make the town’s regular weekly public skating periods free, giving residents a set schedule for drop-in skating.

Here are the posted March Break skating times:

Monday: 3:00–4:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 3:00–4:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 3:00–4:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 7:00–8:00 p.m.
Thursday: 3:00–4:00 p.m.
Friday: 4:00–5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00–11:00 a.m.

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls identified the Wednesday evening, Friday and Saturday sessions as its regular weekly public skating times, which will be free during March Break. The Monday-to-Thursday afternoon skates are listed as additional March Break sessions.
