Smooth Rock Falls says municipal election signs are being removed or laid down
The Town of Smooth Rock Falls says it has become aware that some municipal election signs are being “removed or laid down,” and warns that removing or tampering with signs without authorization may constitute a criminal offence.
In a public notice dated Sept. 24, the town said it will contact authorities if the incidents continue, and asked residents to “respect all candidates’ signs.”
The notice did not provide details on where in Smooth Rock Falls the signs were affected or how many were involved.
