Smooth Rock Falls Seeks Proposals for Resident Notification System

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls has requested proposals from qualified vendors for a resident communication and emergency notification platform. According to an announcement published by the Town on May 21, 2025, proposals must be submitted in PDF format, either by email or mail.

The Town's request is for a system that can deliver municipal updates, emergency alerts, service disruptions, and other public information to residents via SMS, automated voice calls, and email. The request for proposals also notes the potential for additional features, including app-based notifications, two-way messaging, integration with municipal websites or customer relationship management systems, multilingual support, and real-time reporting.

For email submissions, proponents are required to use the subject line "RFP-04-2025 – Resident Communication and Notification System." The Town states that upon submission, proponents will receive an automated confirmation email. If no confirmation is received, proponents are advised to contact the Economic Development Officer before the deadline.

The Town does not accept responsibility for technical issues or submission failures. Proponents are responsible for ensuring their proposals are received by the Town before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
