Smooth Rock Falls sets Spring Clean-Up Week for June 2026, with community clean-up day on June 5

Spring Clean-Up Week in Smooth Rock Falls is set to begin the week of June 1, 2026, and the town is also planning the Françoise Landry Community Clean-Up Day for June 5, according to its June 2026 “Citizen’s Corner” notice.

The notice includes several other dates residents may want to note this month, including local meeting times, when the next utility bill is due, and deadlines tied to the 2026 municipal election.

For the June 5 community clean-up day, the town said gloves and garbage bags will be available at Town Hall for residents who take part.

The town also said its Public Works Department will soon begin street sweeping throughout the community as part of seasonal spring maintenance. Residents can check the town’s website and Facebook page for scheduling updates.

A Planning Board meeting is scheduled for June 1, 2026, at 6 p.m.

Council meetings are scheduled for June 1, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., and June 15, 2026, at 6 p.m.

For the 2026 municipal election, the town listed election day as Oct. 26, 2026. The nomination period ends Aug. 21, 2026.

The town said the second utility bill of 2026 is due June 30, 2026.
