Smooth Rock Falls spring clean-up set for June 1–6; curbside set-out begins May 29

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls will run its Spring Clean-Up Week from June 1 to June 6, 2026, with residents asked to place unwanted items at the curb starting Friday, May 29, according to a town notice.

The town says the May 29 set-out date is intended to give others a chance to pick up reusable items before municipal collection begins.

Public Works crews will collect remaining curbside items during the June 1–6 clean-up week.

The town’s notice says residents can set out up to one pickup-truck load of eligible materials at the curb at no cost.

Materials must be sorted by category, such as wood, metal and tires, the town said.

Collection will be done by area on the town’s schedule. The notice says once crews have completed a street or area, they will not return.

The town said fridges, freezers and other Freon-containing items require prepaid tipping fees and must be arranged in advance with Town Hall.
