Smooth Rock Falls to hold Canada Day event July 1 at Liz McCafferty Park and municipal pool

Smooth Rock Falls will hold a Canada Day celebration on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Liz McCafferty Park and the Smooth Rock Falls Municipal Pool.

The schedule includes food, outdoor activities and pool programming, with several events timed through the afternoon.

The town’s posting says the event is hosted by the municipal pool lifeguards.

Free hotdogs and cotton candy are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. First responder vehicles will be on display during that hour.

Outdoor games and activities are scheduled from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Pool activities and a free swim for kids are scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

A money toss is also planned.
