Smooth Rock Falls to hold March 25 session on Sixth Street water and sewer rehabilitation

Smooth Rock Falls is holding a public information session March 25, 2026, about planned watermain and sanitary sewer rehabilitation on Sixth Street between Fifth Street and Maple Avenue. The session is scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. at Town Hall in the council chambers.

The work and information session are directed at residents and property owners within the construction limits on Sixth Street, where the town says rehabilitation is planned during the upcoming construction season.

The town says the session will cover the project scope, anticipated timing and potential impacts for nearby residents and property owners.

According to the town’s notice and project poster, the construction limits for the Sixth Street work are between Fifth Street and Maple Avenue.

The town has also said it plans to provide project updates through Voyent Alert.

The notice does not include a construction start date or a detailed schedule.
