Residents of Smooth Rock Falls will see changes to their waste and recycling services starting January 1, 2025. The Town of Smooth Rock Falls has announced that the recycling program will be managed by Circular Materials, a not-for-profit organization. This change is part of a broader initiative to improve recycling systems across Ontario.

Key points include:

Recycling Collection: GFL Environmental, contracted by Circular Materials, will handle recycling pickups. Residents should expect recycling collection on Tuesdays.
Waste Collection: The Town of Smooth Rock Falls will continue to manage waste collection, scheduled for Wednesdays.
Commercial Recycling: There are no changes to commercial recycling services. The Town will maintain current practices for businesses.
