South Porcupine day-shift snow removal on Broadway and O’Brian postponed; no new date set

Day-shift snow removal planned for Tuesday, April 7, 2026, on Broadway Avenue and O’Brian Avenue (north side) in South Porcupine has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date, the City of Timmins says.

The city said the work did not take place because of “operational issues,” and it has not provided a new date for when the snow removal will be done.

In a notice titled “Notice of Disruption-Snow Removal Week of April 06, 2026,” Timmins Public Works said it was making changes to its snow-removal schedule for the week of April 6, 2026. The notice listed South Porcupine’s day-shift snow removal on Broadway and O’Brian (north side) as affected.

The city’s notice did not include further details about the operational issues or how soon the work will be rescheduled.
