Share

T&T brand Organic Roasted Black Soybeans distributed in Ontario are being recalled because they may contain milk not declared on the label, according to a Canadian Food Inspection Agency warning published Nov. 7, 2026.

The CFIA warns that the recalled soybeans may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in people with a milk allergy or sensitivity. The agency says those consumers should not eat the affected product. No reactions associated with its consumption had been reported as of the notice.

The affected packages carry the following identifying information:

  • Product: T&T Organic Roasted Black Soybeans
  • Size: 300 g
  • UPC: 7 76703 33812 1
  • Codes: 2027JA26, 2027JN09 and 2027JN10

The CFIA advises checking for recalled packages and not serving, using, selling or distributing them. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the place of purchase.

Uncle T Food is recalling the product. The product was distributed in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec.

The recall was triggered by CFIA test results. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation that may lead to recalls of other products. It is also checking that the recalled soybeans are being removed from sale.
