Timmins Announces Civic Holiday Schedule Changes for Municipal Services

The City of Timmins has released the schedule for municipal services during the August Civic Holiday weekend in 2024.

Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4:
- Recreation facilities will operate during regularly scheduled hours. Programs will proceed as planned.
- The Timmins Animal Shelter will be open for regular hours.
Monday, August 5:
- The Timmins Community Complex will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The Orono Park Pool will be open from noon to 5 p.m.
- The Municipal Administrative Centre, Timmins Animal Shelter, and all other recreation facilities will be closed.

Service requests, complaints, and emergencies will still be attended to. Municipal Law Enforcement Officers will be on duty throughout the long weekend.
