Timmins Announces Snow Removal Operations for February 22 to March 1

The City of Timmins has released the schedule for upcoming snow removal operations that will take place from February 22 to March 1, 2025. These operations include both night-time and daytime efforts scheduled across various locations.

Night-time Operations:

Commencing at 9:00 pm and continuing until 7:00 am, snow clearing will focus on main streets including Riverside Drive and Spruce Street in Timmins, as well as designated areas within Porcupine.

Daytime Operations:

These activities are set to occur between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, covering additional locations such as Second Avenue and Algonquin Boulevard, with specific focus days assigned to each site.

The Public Works Department advises residents to follow safety signs to ensure a safe environment for the work crews during these operations. Adjustments to the schedule may occur depending on weather conditions, and further notices will be provided by the city if necessary.
