Timmins cancels April 10 day-shift snow removal on Cecil and William avenues in South Porcupine

Day-shift snow removal scheduled for Friday, April 10, 2026, on Cecil Avenue and William Avenue in South Porcupine has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date, according to a City of Timmins public works notice.

The city said it is changing its snow-removal schedule for the week of April 6, and that areas previously scheduled for snow removal will not receive service as a result.

In its notice, the City of Timmins said the planned snow-removal operation was cancelled because crews were needed to respond to priority drainage concerns and pothole repairs.

The city did not announce a new date for the Cecil Avenue and William Avenue work.
