Timmins cancels one daytime snow-removal crew on Hemlock St. N, Spruce St N and Tamarack St N for March 17

One of Timmins’ daytime snow-removal crews scheduled to work Tuesday, March 17 was cancelled for Hemlock St. N, Spruce St N and Tamarack St N because of continued storm cleanup and wind gusts causing drifting.

The change affects residents and drivers on those streets who may have been expecting daytime snow-removal activity on March 17. The City of Timmins said the work will be rescheduled for next week.

The city posted the update at 8:01 a.m. on March 17 as part of its “Snow Removal Notice Week of March 16, 2026.”

The city did not give a specific rescheduled date.
