Timmins crews still collecting bulk items May 13 north of Ross and Jubilee, from Airport Road to Highway 655

City crews in Timmins were still picking up bulk items on Tuesday, May 13, in neighbourhoods north of Ross Avenue and Jubilee Avenue, working from Airport Road (including rural areas) east to Highway 655.

The update matters for residents in the affected area who may still have large items at the curb, as the city is indicating the scheduled pickup is taking longer than expected and will continue as crews return for remaining materials.

According to the City of Timmins Environmental Services Department, collection in that zone is ongoing and may take additional time because of the volume of material and operational requirements.

The department asked residents to leave bulk items at the curb while collection continues, and said crews will return for anything not picked up as the work progresses.

The city also reported that bulk item collection is complete in areas east of College Street.
