Timmins Public Works ended its Significant Weather Event at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.
The designation had been in place since 5 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, under Ontario’s Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways (O.Reg 239).
Public Works posted the update on the city’s website at 3:10 p.m. Sunday.
Timmins will begin citywide snow plowing at 12:01 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, with work expected to continue throughout the day. The city’s winter parking ban is in effect, prohibiting on-street parking on any day between 11:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. from Nov.
