Timmins opens transit survey June 25, with responses due July 10, 2026
The City of Timmins opened a public transit survey on June 25 as part of developing a new Timmins Transit Master Plan, with responses due by Friday, July 10, 2026.
The city is using the survey to gather input that will be used to review the current transit system, including routes and service, how the service is delivered, ridership trends, and changing travel patterns.
The survey is open to current Timmins Transit riders and people who do not use the service. The city said it is also seeking feedback from employers, students, seniors, people with disabilities, community agencies, service providers and other residents.
The survey is available online at www.timmins.ca/our_services/timmins_transit/timmins_transit_study.
Paper copies are available for pickup at Service Timmins (220 Algonquin Blvd. E.), the Timmins Transit Terminal Office (54 Spruce St. S.), the Timmins Public Library (320 2nd Ave.), and the C.M. Shields Branch Library (99 Bloor Ave.).
The city did not provide a completion date for the Timmins Transit Master Plan in its announcement.
