Timmins police are investigating two shootings after shots were fired into the windows of two homes around 7 a.m. on Aug. 16, 2026. Police reported no injuries.
The Timmins Police Service said the shootings led to temporary road closures on Rea Street North and Elm Street North, and investigators are asking the public to review any video that may have captured activity in the area around the time of the incidents.
Police said they believe both shootings were targeted.
Rea Street North and Elm Street North have reopened to traffic, according to police.
Police are seeking video or dashcam footage recorded between 6:45 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. in two areas: between Rea Street North and McLean Street, and between Vimy Road and Jubilee Avenue.
Police did not release the addresses of the homes.
