Timmins police issue traffic advisory after collision near Riverside Drive and Shirley Street

Timmins Police Service issued a traffic advisory Aug. 13 after a motor vehicle collision in the area of Riverside Drive and Shirley Street in Timmins.

The advisory may affect drivers using Riverside Drive and nearby streets, as police said emergency crews were attending the scene and traffic delays were possible.

Timmins police asked motorists to avoid the area and take alternate routes, if possible, while the collision is investigated.

Police also asked drivers travelling through the area to use caution and follow the direction of emergency personnel.

Timmins Police Service said further updates would be provided if necessary. Police did not report the number of vehicles involved or whether anyone was injured.
