Timmins postpones overnight street sweeping on James, Sixth and Toke avenues to June 9

Overnight street sweeping in Timmins scheduled for Wednesday, June 3 has been postponed on James Avenue, Sixth Avenue and Toke Avenue, with those streets now set to be swept on Monday, June 9, 2026, according to City of Timmins Public Works.

The change affects residents on those streets who may normally plan for parking restrictions or overnight cleaning during the city’s “Night Shift Timmins” sweeping schedule.

City of Timmins Public Works said the schedule change is to accommodate shave and pave contract work.
