Timmins posts snow-removal schedule for April 4–10, 2026, including overnight work on three nights

The City of Timmins has posted a snow-removal schedule for the week of April 4 to 10, 2026, with overnight work planned on April 6, 7 and 8 and daytime work scheduled for April 7 through April 10.

The schedule matters for residents and businesses along the listed routes because snow-removal work can affect parking and traffic on those streets while crews are operating.

According to the notice posted by the city on April 2, overnight snow removal is scheduled from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next day.

On Monday, April 6, the city listed Harold Avenue, from Northern College to The Beer Store.

On Tuesday, April 7, the city listed King Street, from Bristol Road to Bob’s Lake.

On Wednesday, April 8, the city listed Algonquin Avenue, from Mountjoy Street to Mattagami Boulevard.

The city also scheduled daytime snow removal from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., starting Tuesday, April 7.

For Tuesday, April 7, the notice listed Broadway Avenue; Fay Crescent; Moore Street, from Powell Avenue to Quebec Avenue; O’Brian Avenue; and Suzanne Street, from Lamminen Avenue to Riverpark Road.

For Wednesday, April 8, the notice listed Dale Avenue; Dome Street; Essa Avenue; Kimberly Avenue; and Shamrock Avenue, from Main Street to Legion Drive.

For Thursday, April 9, the notice listed Commercial Avenue and “churches and storefronts” in South Porcupine and Porcupine.

For Friday, April 10, the notice listed Cecil Avenue, Columbus Avenue, Montgomery Avenue, Southern Avenue and William Avenue.
