Timmins Public Library Receives Minister’s Award for Innovation

The Timmins Public Library has been recognized with the Minister’s Award for Innovation in the medium-sized library category. The award was given at the annual Ontario Public Library Service Awards for the Library Book Bike (Vélo-Biblio) initiative.

The Library Book Bike program aims to enhance community engagement by bringing library services directly to residents through a mobile unit. The program is set to return this summer with more events and programs planned.
