Timmins Public Works Announces Snow Removal Schedule for January 5-10, 2025
The Timmins Public Works Department has released the schedule for snow removal operations from January 5 to January 10, 2025. Nighttime snow removal will take place from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am, and daytime operations are scheduled from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Sunday, January 5: Harold (Legion to Tim Hortons), King (Coott to Gervais)

Wednesday, January 8: Waterloo (Algonquin to Vimy), Messines, Wilcox (Algonquin to Commercial), Preston (Algonquin to Commercial), Cameron South
Daytime Snow Removal Schedule:
- Friday, January 10: Timmins and South Porcupine: Churches and Storefronts
The department advises that the schedule may change due to winter storms or mechanical issues, which could require a shift to snow plowing operations. Streets not completed will be addressed in the next available shift.
Residents are reminded of City BYLAW 1993-4162, which prohibits placing snow from private property onto roads or sidewalks. Yellow No Parking signs will indicate areas scheduled for maintenance, and vehicles parked in these areas during operations will be ticketed and towed.
The Winter Parking Ban remains in effect, prohibiting street parking from 11:30 pm to 7:30 am until April 30.
