Timmins Public Works Department Issues Flood Warning and Opens Sandbag Stations

The Timmins Public Works Department has issued a flood warning based on anticipated heavy rainfall in the area. According to the department, residents in low-lying parts of Timmins are advised to take measures to protect their properties.

Sandbag pickup stations are available at the Timmins Public Works Yard, located at 899 Riverside Drive, and the Mountjoy Public Works Garage at 201 Frederick House Lake Road. The department states that residents can access sandbags at these sites.

Residents are encouraged by the Timmins Public Works Department to monitor local alerts for updates on flood conditions and any further instructions.
