Timmins Receives $620,457 for New Transit Bus
The City of Timmins has been allocated $620,457 from Ontario's annual Gas Tax funding. Timmins Transit will use these funds to purchase a new bus, replacing an older model that has reached the end of its service life. This update is part of the city's 10-year financial plan to modernize its transit fleet.
Timmins Transit is also undergoing renovations at its terminal on Spruce Street and conducting a route optimization review. These projects aim to improve the infrastructure and efficiency of the transit system.
