Timmins reports missed April 15 day-shift snow removal in South Porcupine; no reschedule planned
Day-shift snow removal scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in South Porcupine did not take place on Florence N, Florence S. and Division Street due to “weather & operational issues,” and the City of Timmins says it tentatively will not reschedule those areas.
The city said the missed work is prompting changes to its snow-removal schedule for the week of April 12, which may affect residents who were expecting daytime snow clearing on those streets.
In a Public Works disruption notice posted April 16, the City of Timmins said the affected area was the April 15 day shift in South Porcupine, where crews had been scheduled to work on Florence N, Florence S. and Division Street.
The notice said the city is “making changes to the snow removal schedule for the week of April 12, 2026” because the areas did not receive snow removal.
The city did not provide further details in the notice about what specific schedule changes would be made elsewhere that week.
The notice was posted at 3:54 p.m. on April 16.
