Timmins reports raw sewage spill at Mattagami Water Pollution Control Plant as ongoing
The City of Timmins reported a raw sewage spill at the Mattagami Water Pollution Control Plant at 551 Airport Road on April 24, with the city’s notice listing a start time of 8:28 a.m. The notice, posted at 9:12 a.m., listed the spill as ongoing.
The notice did not provide a cause for the spill and did not list the amount of wastewater bypassed, showing “on-going” for the “Volume by-passed” field as well as the end date and end time.
