Timmins reschedules Shamrock Avenue day-shift snow removal in South Porcupine to April 8

City of Timmins Public Works has rescheduled a planned day-shift snow removal on Shamrock Avenue in South Porcupine from Wednesday, April 1, 2026, to Wednesday, April 8, 2026, covering the stretch between Main Street and Legion Drive.

The change matters for people who live, park, or drive along that section of Shamrock Avenue, where snow removal had been planned earlier in the week but did not happen as scheduled.

In a disruption notice posted Thursday afternoon, the city said the April 1 work did not take place because of “operational issues.”

The notice describes the work as day-shift snow removal for Shamrock Avenue between Main Street and Legion Drive in South Porcupine.

The city did not explain what the operational issues were.
