Timmins says Essa Avenue snow removal in South Porcupine will be rescheduled

The City of Timmins says day-shift snow removal on Essa Avenue in South Porcupine, scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2026, will be rescheduled for a later date.

The change is part of the city’s snow removal schedule for the week of April 6, 2026, and affects residents and drivers on Essa Avenue who may have been expecting equipment and temporary disruptions during the planned work period.

In a Notice of Disruption posted online, the city’s Public Works department said the work did not take place due to “operational issues.” Public Works did not provide a new date for when the work will be rescheduled.

The notice lists the affected location as Essa Avenue in South Porcupine during the day shift on April 8, 2026. The city did not provide further details about the operational issues.
