Timmins says March 24 overnight snow removal on Birch Street didn’t happen and will be rescheduled

Overnight snow removal scheduled for the night of Tuesday, March 24 on Birch Street in Timmins—between Sixth Avenue and Second Avenue—did not take place because of “operational issues” and will be rescheduled, according to the City of Timmins.

The city’s Public Works department posted the update as part of changes to Timmins’ snow removal schedule for the week of March 22. No new date for the Birch Street work was provided.

In a notice posted March 25, the city listed Birch Street as the affected location under a heading for areas that did not receive snow removal as planned.

The city did not say what the operational issues were or when crews would return to complete the overnight work.
