Timmins Schedules City-Wide Snow Plowing for December 10

The City of Timmins has announced a city-wide snow plowing operation scheduled to start on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 12:01 AM. The Public Works Department will deploy crews to clear snow from city streets, rural roads, laneways, and parking lots. Some areas may not be plowed overnight and will be addressed during daytime hours.

Residents are reminded that the Winter Parking Ban is currently in effect. This ban prohibits parking on city streets between 11:30 PM and 7:30 AM from November 1 through April 30. Vehicles parked during these hours may be subject to fines or towing.

The City of Timmins requests cooperation from residents to facilitate the snow removal process and ensure road safety during the winter months.
