Timmins schedules snow removal Dec. 28–Jan. 2
The City of Timmins has scheduled snow removal from Sunday, Dec. 28, through Friday, Jan. 2, with night work from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. and daytime work from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Operations are planned both overnight and during the day on Monday and Tuesday. Work is scheduled only during the day on Wednesday and Friday. Friday’s schedule covers “Churches & Storefronts.”
Night work will run from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. on:
- Sunday, Dec. 28: Riverside Dr (Norman St to Shirley St)
- Monday, Dec. 29: Jubilee Ave; Ross Ave; Waterloo Rd (Algonquin Blvd to Vimy Ave)
- Tuesday, Dec. 30: McLean Dr (Vimy Ave to Kaleidoscope); Therieault Blvd
Day work will run from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on:
- Monday, Dec. 29: Crawford Ave (Dome St to Harold Ave); Huot St (Dome St to Dead End); Moore St (Harold Ave to Quebec Ave)
- Tuesday, Dec. 30: George St; Jade Ave (McLean Dr to Waterloo Rd); Jade Ave (Rea St to Melrose Blvd); Waterloo Rd (Vimy Ave to Jubilee Ave)
- Wednesday, Dec. 31: Lonergan Blvd; Victoria Ave
- Friday, Jan. 2: “Churches & Storefronts”
No operations are listed for Thursday.
Some corridors appear more than once. Waterloo Rd is scheduled for night work between Algonquin Blvd and Vimy Ave, and for day work between Vimy Ave and Jubilee Ave. Jade Ave appears twice for day work on Tuesday along different segments. Each listing shows the specific segment to be cleared.
