Timmins Snow Removal Operations Set for March 2025

The Public Works Department of Timmins has released the schedule for night-time snow removal, slated to occur from March 2 to March 6, 2025. Operations will be conducted from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am each night, focusing on designated routes and thoroughfares.

Scheduled Night-time Snow Removal

March 2, 9:00 pm: Algonquin route from Mountjoy to the Mattagami Bridge.
March 3, 9:00 pm: Riverside from Mattagami to Joseph.
March 4, 9:00 pm: Riverside from Joseph to Shirley, including Shirley.
March 5, 9:00 pm: Riverside leading towards Canadian Tire lights.

Daytime Snow Removal Schedule

In addition to night operations, daytime snow removal will be active from March 3 through March 7, running from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. These efforts will concentrate on residential streets in the northern areas of Timmins and Schumacher.

Residents are reminded of the towing risks if vehicles are parked in non-compliance with posted No Parking signs. The ongoing Winter Parking Ban further prohibits street parking from 11:30 pm to 7:30 am until the end of April 2025.

Any schedule changes due to weather or equipment issues will be communicated by the Public Works Department.
