Timmins Thanksgiving Day Closures and Service Changes
On Monday, October 14, 2024, several municipal services in Timmins will be closed or unavailable due to Thanksgiving Day. The affected services include:

- The Timmins Public Library and C.M. Shields Library branch
- Timmins Economic Development Corporation
- The Archie Dillon Sportsplex Pool, which is closed for repair

Additionally, there will be no household waste and recycling collection on Thanksgiving Day. Instead, residential waste and recycling collection scheduled for that day will occur on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
