Traffic restrictions planned at Pine Street North intersections in Timmins on Aug. 6, 2026

Temporary traffic restrictions are set for two intersections on Pine Street North in Timmins on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, according to the City of Timmins Public Works. Crews are scheduled to work at Sixth Avenue and Pine Street North from 6 to 9 a.m., and at Fifth Avenue and Pine Street North from 9 a.m. to noon.

Drivers using Pine Street North near those intersections may face delays during the scheduled work windows, as access will be restricted while crews are on site.

The city said each approach to the intersections will be closed individually while the work is being completed.

The city asked motorists to obey posted signage, use caution when travelling through the work zones, and use alternate routes where possible.

The city did not specify what work is being done at the intersections.
