Weather report for Apr 25, 2025

Northeastern Ontario starts today cool and cloudy, with morning temperatures hovering near freezing. Light snow is expected across the region in the early hours, gradually turning to rain showers as temperatures climb toward 7°C by afternoon. Winds will be brisk from the northwest at 30 km/h, gusting up to 50 km/h, making it feel a touch colder. Expect showers to linger into the evening as temperatures drop back to the low single digits.

Through the weekend, North Bay, Timmins, Kapuskasing, Iroquois Falls, Hearst, and surrounding towns will see milder air on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday brings a break from the wet weather—patchy cloud with some sun and a high near 12°C, though you’ll still notice the wind. Sunday looks a bit cloudier, with the chance of an afternoon shower and highs around 13°C.

If you’re out today, pack a warm jacket and be alert for slippery roads in the morning. For weekend plans, it’s shaping up to be reasonably mild for late April, but bring a rain layer just in case, particularly Sunday afternoon.
