Cloudy skies across Northeastern Ontario today, including Timmins, Kapuskasing, Hearst, and Iroquois Falls, with rain showers starting in the afternoon. Temperatures will range from 8°C early in the day to highs near 16°C by late afternoon, cooling off down to 5°C overnight. Winds will be moderate from the southeast at 20–30 km/h, picking up a bit during periods of heavier rain.

Friday brings continued unsettled weather with showers likely and similar temperatures, topping out at 15°C. Winds will stay brisk, especially near lakes and open areas.

If you're planning ahead, the weekend looks more promising: Saturday will see a mix of sun and clouds with only a lingering chance of a shower and highs around 17°C. Sunday should be mostly sunny and quite pleasant with afternoon highs pushing 19°C—a good opportunity to enjoy some outdoor time after a damp few days.

No weather warnings are in effect, but it’s wise to carry an umbrella or rain jacket if you’re heading out today or Friday. The UV index remains moderate, so some sunscreen is still a good idea if you’ll be outdoors between cloud breaks.
